Introduction:
seQre2014 QKD workshop covered introduction to quantum cryptography in theoretical and practical aspects, including real-time presentation of entanglement and non-entanglement QKD systems.
Description:
seQre2014 QKD workshop were conducted as presentation with hands-on demonstration of quantum key distribution systems. In theoretical aspect it covered introduction to quantum information processing, quantum computer idea as a threat for information security, fundamental quantum mechanics laws and quantum key distribution basics protocols (like BB84). In practical part both entanglement and non-entanglement QKD systems were demonstrated, their modules and component structure and operation were presented. Hands-on demonstration allowed for interaction with systems by participants.
