Introduction:
Basic characteristics of IDQ3P key exchange protocol, which serves as interface between a server for quantum keys and an external classical encryption device connected to that server.
Description:
Characteristics of key exchange protocol within IDQ3P framework for Clavis II IDQuatique systems. After the QKD procedure generate symmetrical key in form of binary string, this key will be used for security purposes – a key exchange protocol must serve as a transparent interface for accessing generated keys. Possible communication scenarios were presented, as well as the layer structure and request/answer packets structure was described.
