QSDC protocol implementation based on entanglement-based QKD system is presented. Theoretical and practical issues concerning entanglement production, purification and quantum memories are discussed.
Brief review of the issues standing against performing QSDC in laboratory. Results of Bell's tests of entanglement correlations from SPDC process are presented, using AIT's setup for entangled QKD. Due to the fact that acquired entangled states are not pure states, entanglement distillation is needed --- review of few procedures is presented, as well as review of newest discoveries in quantum memories --- next crucial step to perform QSDC. Last but not least, basic scheme of architecture of such experimental setup is proposed. Scheme is based on AIT's EPR SYS-405 setup architecture with modifications needed to perform QSDC.
